Over the last few days we have been fixing a number of bugs and continuing development on a number of new features. Firstly tonight we noticed we had an issue with Time/Date and as a result RSS and Friendfeed/Twitter posts were all showing completely wrong dates – (Posts in 2007).

In addition, we are still working on our new admin and backend to improve control of the TTi Bots and to be able to better allocate their use for more effective crawling.

Finally, we are constantly considering our frontend UI for changes and improvements. We understand that its not perfect at the moment, however we are considering whats best because we are hoping to intergrate Friendfeed and other social networking tools into TTi more effectively. Welcome to TheThirdEye.org – The new tech news aggregator. As some of you may know, thethirdeye.org has taken on a number of identities ranging from the inital SourceCentral, then into a tech news community and finally into our best project yet! We realised that manual work was so web 1.0 so we decided to create the best place to get all of the best and most interesting tech news. The site is constantly updating, with the TTi_Bot crawling around 50 sites as of now, and expanding every day. Whilst the bot is currently fairly basic, we are planning on adding a range of new features including the ability to find news itself from sites that its never been on before.

We hope for success with this site and we really feel it has the potential to become popular. The site is very simple and we have a range of expansionary ideas including Desktop client, Facebook apps, iPhone App and many others.
